Next version changelog (2.0.4?)



  • I will update this whenever I make changes to the mod.

  • Too lazy to create a new topic, so here are my suggestions for the next etjump version :)

    • slick surface detector (something like ob detector for slick surfaces)

    • the "fuck you" vsay :D

    ps: the 2nd one is a joke but please take the first one seriously

    edit: documentation!! i just spent 10 minutes looking for the command to see what maps are in each list and still haven't found it



  • Added support for timeruns.

    Yeah documentation is on the todo list.
    /listinfo for the lists



  • Added slick detector. Only detects actual surfaceparm slick surfaces currently. Slopes that are slicky are not detected.



  • Added alternative scoreboard.

    Have you tried executing the camscripts in etjump?

    Freecam support isn't there but the scripts should be executable, unless for some reason I removed the support before releasing (which I doubt). I cannot check this currently as I'm not at home.

    Fov adjustment works, but console reports unknown command freecamsetpos.

    EDIT: nope he wasn't. Works on 2.0.3.

    Also regarding to cameras: a command similar to "b_demo_lookat" would be amazing, as it's pretty painful to create cameras when you just have to guess the angles and timings.

  • Since it seems like this has become the thread for suggestions, here's a few:

    • cg_viewplayerportals value 2: you only see other players' portals when you're speccing them (or just add this function to value 1)
    • Entity that checks speed and fires targets if speed is high/low enough
    • Entity that adds/reduces speed without changing the direction
    • cg_noactivatelean: gives you the ability to strafe instead of leaning when using +moveleft or +moveright together with +activate
    • Command to list all etjump cvars


  • Is it possible to add a script event that would trigger when the map ends? Mostly so trees wouldn't be missing leaves on other maps after maps like Skacharohuth or usemejump.

    Edit: Come to think of it, remapshader probably isn't the cause here, is it...



  • a cvar or a mapping entities that disable cgaz ?



  • Added random map vote mode.



  • Fix compass and stretched menus for widescreen resolutions.
